What are these sockets?

A friend of mine gave me a few of his mechanics tools from the 60's. In with the standard sockets, I found these odd-looking sockets.
They are large at around 2 inches and are 3/4 drive, I can't figure out what they were used for.... I assume they are automotive, as he was a car mechanic during the 60's.

I thought there were only 3 sizes but maybe not.
There may only be three sizes. The deep socket might be a duplicate size to one of the shorties?
Two of the sockets have extremely light marking and I cannot read them. The two Cornwells have great stamps.
