I'm at a loss here. They were in a box full of taps and dies so I'm sure they're related somehow but I've just never seen these types of tools before.

the ones on the left look like they are deep hole taps with a collar to make sure they start "square" with the hole. Not quite sure what the ones on the right are for

OK, thanks. Now that I know their name I can read up on them. I Googled Adjustable Reamer and that's exactly what they are.

The fixed reamers on far right are "quick-change" type for drills etc with a quick-change chuck used in aviation a lot developed by Boeing i think and way more expensive than regular drill bits hence why they have never taken off outside production lines big manufacturers are willing to pay the cost of the system beacause it shaves thousands of man hours from an aircraft assembly
