Number 2 is a punch. Looks to be for light gauge metal but it's hard to tell as the is nothing for size reference. Leather punches look the same.

Number 3 looks like a pivot pin for some kind of heavy equipment

Number 2 is absolutely a lite gauge sheet metal hand punch ^^. #3 looks like a nibbler cutter for a pneumatic unit. One looks like a dedicated nut wrench for something lite duty like maybe bottle hoses or something. My guess would be whomever owned these was a hvac tech.

Actually he was an HVAC tech...good guess.

Pardon my ignorance--what do you use a sheet metal hand punch for?

It's just like a paper punch: put it over the edge of the metal, squeeze the handle, and it punches a hole through the metal.

I could see #1 being used to pull lockformer seams together in ductwork. Can't say I've seen the tool before though.

#2 is an Asian knockoff of a Roper Whitney #5 Jr punch. As is too common in the knockoffs, the side plates are installed backwards.

#3 looks like a brake drum nail tool. If you look at it end on, is the interior knurled?
