What are these ?

I think they are for battery cable to terminal connection but they seem kinda big. I found them on the side of the road .
Markings read 'lucos 1744'

They're definitely not battery terminals. Since the large ends are splined, they may be part of a steering assembly (tractor?).

They look like drop arms or pitman arms.

Just searched again and saw a couple of steering pitman arms that look sort of like these... Late 20s early 30s Ford and late 80s BMW .

Pittman arms. also used on snowmobiles and garden tractors

I found them on the side of the road .

Go back and look a little farther down the road. You may find the vehicle they fell off of.

There were lots of tiny vehicles plowing the sidewalk after the last storm. I wonder if they came from that.

Heh. No signs of any mishaps. I actually saw them a couple of days ago and left them in case anyone would come back.
