What are useful attachments for an air hammer?

I have some chisels, and that's about it. Are there other useful attachments you use? I had to push out a bolt, and tried to use the pointed awl attachment, but it was way to pointy. Wondering what other uses this tool may have.

I have the shear chisel attachment, it works well on light gauge sheetmetal

I also have a pickle fork. Works great on ball joints up tp ½ ton trucks. I wish I had a slightly wider one for bigger trucks

The hammer head is indispensable. I use it probably more often than any other.

The cold chisel is handy from time to time, especially with rusted nuts. Just split them and go on about my day.

This is the one I have, the kit. I had to order the hammer head and pickle fork

Be careful with your *****, i think they also make a sawzall attachment if you want something less agressive. You will probably want to use a good lubricant though.

A basic mechanics air hammer starter set will probably do everything you need. Amazingly they make different attachments for different applications (cutting, fastening, metal working, separating, punching, moving/bumping, etc.)

I have an attachment for driving out Honda ball joints. Awesome. Pickle fork, there's several different bolt drivers, I prefer the slight taper, less pointy one that has about a 5/16 flat on the end. I also have a side moulding remover on a cheaply air hammer, the big dog can go thru a door panel of you slip lol

This can't be for real. If you don't know what an air hammer is and how to use it just stick to browsing the ***** shop instead of HF.

I'm partial to Old Forge air hammer bits as they're durable but, not expensive.
There are probably 50 or so common type bits. In addition to the styles mentioned, I like the blunt pointed bit, and a thin curved blade bit for removing control arm bushings.

I cut off longer bits to end up with a straight punch about 1/2" in diameter. It is a good compromise between a small punch and a hammer bit.

I once had to replace a couple of hundred flanged bushings with a 3/16" bore. I could get at both sides, so I took a long (Boeing Surplus) rivet bit and turned it to fit in the bore and a shoulder a little smaller than the bore in the housing. I hammered the bushings out and new ones back in quickly!

Air hammer bits machine pretty well if you use carbide bits and a fairly low speed.
