What are you doing for a benchtop DP stand?

I'm limited on bench space, so beside the obvious ( using the bench) what are you using for a bench top drill press stand... cart, table, etc? thanks

I've got the same problem.

Here's a start on what I came up with.

Just need to find the time to put a top on it, and clear some floor space.

i dont really used the cart in the garage, and it was taking up valuable space.

In previous threads, it was mentioned that the HF side cabinet has been used as a DP stand. The drawers were used for bits and miscellaneous items.

A heavy cart from the past, that stays put.

There exists a Delta stand with casters for mounting a DP. Just me, but I'm not a fan of a bench DP on a stand. I've owned a couple and sold them. I either want a floor DP or a bench DP on a bench.

Bellaireroad: I have my daily driver W/T 15" setting on an old machine shop 2 drawer cabinet. Mobile, yet very sturdy. Works out well and has great storage for drill related equipment.

Mine sets on a 100.00 husky toolbox from home depot. I covered the top with wood, then put a industry size aluminum cookie sheet on top of the wood, then bolted the drill press through everything, have 4 nice drawers to keep my bits and hole saws in

Well here's a very lousy photo, but it shows the idea. Pick up an old tool chest lower box, and it works wonderfully. Height is perfect (for me) and the drawers are obviously convenient.
