Thanks! It was a blast, I felt like an archaeologist sifting through all the dirt and debris! I have a little more left to go through, just have to flip the body upside down to knock the stuff out that's too hard to reach first.

Let us know when you drag that '39-40 truck home! I always like reading about found treasures. :)

Just put the finishing touches on my new vintage Cibie Oscar driving lights. I've been working on those things for 3 days now...stripping paint, tapping out dents, sanding, painting, trying to find an off the shelf rattle can color that matches 1966 Porsche Light Ivory, sanding, rewiring, repainting, sanding...etc. Turns out Ford Wimbledon White is an almost perfect match.

Very cool lights. Do you ralley?

Thanks, I think so too. I looked for reasonably priced set of those for a long time.

No, I don't rally, not much of that going on around here. I do like the vintage 911 rally look though.

This train set consists of 2000 feet of track with a 80' long tunnel/ a trestle of about 70' /a foot bridge/ a fully stocked train station. 3 passenger cars/ a flatbed/ Have 2 "G16" engines both built by the "Minature Train Company" out of Indiana. The company made these for parks in the 40's. They use a Wisconsin V4 for power. It's taken 5 years of summer work to get it just about completely finished. Had a Halloween party last year with about 70 people and ran the train till 3:00AM- a little over 100 trips.

That is insanely cool!

Current projects:

Planting 3 4x4's in the ground to get a gate built.
Figure out why tiller isnt running and get that going.
Continue to dig out bamboo that is invading the rear yard from neighbors
Build an additional 5x5 garden box and a 6x10 as well (adding 85 sq ft to our existing 750 sq ft of garden)
Once tiller is fixed, till under the section of backyard I already rided of bamboo (planting wheat or something to rejuvenate the soil)

Im sure theres more.

Gathering parts to sell at a huge MOPAR show next weekend. I found a folding rear sight at a gun show on Saturday -to use on a M2HB build. Its not correct for this weapon, but the price was right and you have to know the weapon to understand the difference. I mounted it today and it looks good. Althought the weapon is a dummy, you have to get up really close to see its inert. Will go on a 1942 Willys MB.
