Snap On is the only brand I have that the ring end will fit on a BMW M20 starter. My Matco, Ptoro, Craftsman Pro are all too thick.

So, you want me to drive to sears, buy a wrench, come home, take pictures, post them, & then return the wrench?

Nevermind, I had you confused with davestlouis. I was operating under the assumption you already had a Craftsman Pro wrench. Please except my apologies.

dave, i'm not hacking on you but when i went to new distributor training we were introduced to a guy who was supposedly in charge of new product development at matco's tool manufacturing plant. he told us that any new tool idea's that our customers had to let him know, he would get the plant tooled up to make them. well i had a product idea so i called matco and asked for him personally (i talked to sunny, i think she's still with matco) and was told that there was no one by that name who worked for matco. now remember at this time (right after danaher bought matco) matco was still outsorcing everything from other suppliers, the only things on the truck that came from a danaher owned company was, kd, ammco and jacobs. and they we not private labled. so don't believe everything matco tells you!

You tell me not to believe everything they say, but, you called them believing that they would tool up & build a product based on 1 recommendation without research? I had a tool idea, tried like hell to get anyone at Matco to even listen to my idea, & finally submitted it to Lisle. According to the legal department at Matco they don't want a tool idea. They want a repair problem so they can design the tool themselves. I'm sure they want it this way so they can keep a bigger piece of the pie.

What I posted is what I was told in January, in Stow, OH, on the 2nd floor of Matco's building , in the training room. Do I bleieve everything I'm told? Not always, but, I believe it to be true until I know it's not. By the way, how long ago was your information given to you? There's a good chance that things have changed!

I was given a shirt by a co-worker that reads "667, Evil and Then Some" when I worked in the body shop. I really think she meant it with affection.

admittedly i was young and naive(?) but the point wasn't that i EXPECTED them to tool up and produce a tool on MY suggestion( because i didn't, besides that was what they had asked us to do). it was the fact that they had someone posing as a product designer for thier FACTORY and both were a myth!
this happened in dec 1988, on the second floor of the matco building at 4403 allen road, stow ohio.......in the training room.

after my experience with matco and as many times they lied to me, i don't believe it until they prove it to me!
