Nevermind, I had you confused with davestlouis. I was operating under the assumption you already had a Craftsman Pro wrench. Please except my apologies. :eek:

You tell me not to believe everything they say, but, you called them believing that they would tool up & build a product based on 1 recommendation without research? They want a repair problem so they can design the tool themselves. I'm sure they want it this way so they can keep a bigger piece of the pie.


What I posted is what I was told in January, in Stow, OH, on the 2nd floor of Matco's building , in the training room. Do I bleieve everything I'm told? Not always, but, I believe it to be true until I know it's not. By the way, how long ago was your information given to you? There's a good chance that things have changed!

I was given a shirt by a co-worker that reads "667, Evil and Then Some" when I worked in the body shop. I really think she meant it with affection.

admittedly i was young and naive(?) but the point wasn't that i EXPECTED them to tool up and produce a tool on MY suggestion( because i didn't, besides that was what they had asked us to do). it was the fact that they had someone posing as a product designer for thier FACTORY and both were a myth!
this happened in dec 1988, on the second floor of the matco building at 4403 allen road, stow ohio.......in the training room.

after my experience with matco and as many times they lied to me, i don't believe it until they prove it to me!
