What brand is this socket?

3/8 set that came with a bunch of tools I bought. Probably not that special but it annoys me greatly not knowing what brand it is. The “K” is the only marking on it along with cr-v and the size.
Did the google thing on “tool logo” but only found that TOOL released a new album this year. I’ll call that a win anyway.
Thanks in advance.

I believe SK used to stamp items they manufactured for others with a 'K' and a circle, starting in the late 30s/early 40s. The stamping on yours is different, so I am guessing that it is from a few decades later, most likely still an SK produced socket for some other company.

Still no idea what brand though.
Guessing it’s not that craptacular.

Thanks for the input Dave. Sockets came with an SK ratchet, SK swivel joint and some USA craftsman extension bars. Although I doubt the sockets being SK.

My first though was K-Tool International, but their current logo is not even close, and they have been using the same one for a while.

Maybe take a look at some of the older rothenburger products. The tool shape as well as those dies look like their product line. However the socket baffles me.

Any chance it was a logo used by Kamasa? I kind of doubt it since I couldn't find a similar logo under that name, but I'm not well versed at all in Euro brands beyond knowing some of the bigger names.

Can I copy your homework?
Sure, don’t make it look obvious.

I know it's annoying to bump a thread without adding any content but I'm surprised no one here knows what the brand is so bringing the thread back to the front page.

Do any of the tools have a part number on them?

I gave it a whirl but it’s tough to ID when it’s an Asian import likely made for the Eurpopean market. Like Sam, first thought was K Tool, also tried Kimball Midwest,Klutch,Kincrome,Kennedy. What other K’s do we have? Not a Klein.

There’s “1/06” on the blowmolded case.
Also the ratchet head says type 62.

I googled this and found a type 62 ratchet head on a Chinese site. No surprise there.
But who would go through the extra effort of having their logo in the castings?

It bears the mark of the beast! Saw it on marketplace so I asked the seller what brand it is. Powerfix is Lidl’s toolbrand for ****** tools. Or rebranded tools in this case, other shops sell them too. See below.

List price is 107,69.

Spotted a couple of vices on Ebay with the same logo.

No. I messaged one of the sellers and he said there was no brand name, just the K. The vice is available under a few different lower budget brands.
