I'm a user, not a collector, so whatever works. Mostly Craftsman but a smattering of everything from Snap-On to Harbor Freight.

I take that back. I have one BOG socket that I don't use.

I collect old Klein pliers and any old Bell System tools I can find.
I also collect SO ratcheting screwdrivers and mini hard handle hooks/picks/screwdrivers.

Just about anything old, but although interesting most old wrenches I come across are not worth much.

I do really like anything with names of old manufacturing towns like MAC Sabina, OTC Owatonna or good old Snap-On Kenosha.

Used to come across Vlchek and Kraeuter but not so much anymore.

The tools that I use cover the board as far as brand is concerned. The only "collectibles" I have are a set of 30's/40's era Snap On sockets and a vintage set of "Western" branded (by Duro/Indestro) sockets.

P.S. Still looking for "Western" branded 1/2" drive extensions. :)

I don't know that I would use the word "collect" because I don't collect tools. My wife may disagree but I only buy tools I have an actual use for.

That said...

The majority of my hand tools seem to be either Snap-On, Channellock or Craftsman with some MAC, Matco, Wright, SK and recently Knipex thrown in.
