The lisle bits look similar, but i think the va does stand for vermont american. Good call Nathan.

I just bought a set off ebay for $15 shipped. 98 pieces with torx, hex, Philips, slotted, etc.. I hope they are at least passable in quality. Anyone own this set? I wonder who makes this set?

The stamping definitely looks like they were branded as Vermont American, but they appear to be Danaher/Apex products. I've got a set of Allen brand (about 10 years old) that are of similar construction- if I'm not mistaken, one or two of the bits in that Allen-branded set are stamped with that same "VA" logo. Danaher/Apex seems good for that sort of thing to get rid of tools with markings of discontinued brands; I have some larger Torx bits that I recently bought as Allen branded open stock, and at least one of those is stamped "KD".
