Any idea what the brand was that originally came in this box? Paint is original. No label or markings or stickers? Would love to know. It’s for a 3/8 set. Thanks.

I don't think it's SK because, there's no holes or evidence of the classic tag inside the box's lid.

I would guess, and it's purely a guess, old Craftsman or Ward's power kraft but, definitely back when the boxes were better.

I remember my uncle had a little Action 1/4" drive set in a similar blue box. Had kind of a crinkle finish with the paint.

Definitely not SK. No latch or holes for tag. Not crinkle paint. Fed, great call with wards powerkraft. No evidence of a label being pealed so probably not craftsman.

Armstrong socket/ratchet kit boxes were a black textured finish IIRC. Many also had several holes on top for an accessory, swivel handle that was packed with the set. Metal was about 18 gauge of the those I have had.

True, but older pre Danaher Armstrong was a blue hammered metal finish.

Armstrong was the first brand that popped into my mind when I saw your pic.

Somewhat similar to this one I have, only I didn't notice the holes for the handle on yours. Maybe older style? Unsure.16336864174133954201063687535813.jpg16336865869998831674022886771655.jpg
