What building penetrations before siding?

Before I install vinyl siding, I'd like to make an effort to get most of my building penetrations done. The question is - what and where? Power meter? Exterior lights? Outlets? Bathroom vent? What else?

Corner lights/camera wiring/boxes, hose bibs, outside electrical boxes for power around the perimeter or the front area for sure…

Data, air, water. i recently hand trenched for data and wish i had thought to do water too. i probably did think about it figured i'd do a separate run as it would be the other side of the shop but, boy how i could have put some pex in the trench for compressed air or something. compressed air in the house would be handy for appliances, data closet dusting and deep cleaning kick boards. guess i know for next time i trench.

i always run Ethernet, wirless can be fenicky, if you can have a wired back haul for your repeater you will have less issues. also modern Ethernet now has power over Ethernet. the router and switch and modem sit on a battery back up, anything powered off that Ethernet is protected and support by that UPS. as energy demands go and the US grid stays stagnant, i'm protected. i typically run, camera,s wifi and LED strips off my power over Ethernet. i also have a 12volt dc power supply on the same UPS and just use plain old 12v and speaker wire sized wire for some of the strips.

i shell for the direct burial and last time i think i shelled even more for the grease filled. the stuff with that tape that swells when it gets wet doesn't put my mind at ease knowing it has to get wet first, that method is for bedroom.

I plan on a fiber link to my detached barn via 1” conduit. Less issue with lightning frying stuff.

I also ran direct burial RapidAir between barn and house. Compressor will move there soon.

I have power and lighting conduits from barn backwards towards house. From house I can turn barn exterior lights on. I will switch leg off this circuit to use a contractor to enable the remote barn compressor.
