What Can I Use These For

I picked these up at an auction and I am trying to come up with some cool ideas on how to use these in my garage. They are Harmsco Water Filters. New it looks like they go for $700 to $800 a piece. I picked both up for $6 because I was the only one with an iPhone at the time of bidding and I figured they had to be worth $6...

Any and All Ideas are Welcomed...

people who run their diesels on veggy oil plumb those in as a filter to filter the oil before it goes in the tank... i may be interested in one for that reason depending on if you want to sell them and for how much....

-If you can change the filter media you could use them to filter your air.

-Make your own desicant dryer. As big as they are you could run one for weeks befor the dessicant got saturated, then you switch to the other one and dry the media from the first unit.

-Trash cans?

Thats all I can think of. If it was me, I would most likely scrap them out. I don't have enough room to keep large, limited use items around. I already have a problem with bringing to much random **** home as it is.

Heh, no brainer here. "Go for price" minus "gave for" price = a couple of hundred minimum for something you really need!!

Where or how should I sell them? The wing nuts are solid brass and the inside has some kind of filtration system. I could use the money for insulation...
