What can I use with my compressor to spray paint chips?

I need to do a door edge and I don't know of a brush is going to work (it's tricoat)...is there an air brush set up I can use that's not terribly expensive and lay down the primer, base, mid and clear coats?

I was looking through my harbor freight catalog and see tools that look like they'd do the job 'on paper'.

Yea, it's called a detail gun or touch up gun.. if you are going on a budget purple ones from HF should do the job..

a touch up gun may spray too wide a fan for small chips. how big of an area are you needing to paint?

it's the almost 12" of the edge of the door (think where it would hit should your passenger open it too far)...

My driver's door which gets 99% of the opening and closing is still practically perfect
