Medical oxygen bottles for the most part are obsolete if they are the steel ones. Today, all medical oxygen except for the largest bottles are aluminum. Depending on where you live, I might know someone that would be interested in them for an antique ambulance. Technically speaking, today, you need a prescription to have medical oxygen. I doubt that anyone would ever push that issue though. I have 4 antique ambulances, and I always keep a full bottle on-board, in the event that I might need it for myself. Each of my ambulances is equipped with a older E & J Resuscitator. In a pinch, they will still perform as well as the day that they were manufactured. Because of liability, I wouldn't use them, unless it meant the difference between life and death.. I figure that the Good Samaritan laws would protect me in that case.
Getting back to the bottles that you have....... what are the hight of the bottle? Can you post a picture? thanks Junk...
