What cleaner/degreaser do you use?

Purple Power for me

I use a degreaser called White Lightning it comes for Socar Chemical Company from Taylors S.C. It's really good stuff.

Purple Power is good, but can damage paint if a person is not careful. I use a lot of Simple Green, due to it being less harmful to finishes. I've also used Mean Green. Very effective. Very quick working. It will remove staining and surface rust from paint. (Be careful, it will remove the paint too!) Mean Green is the best thing I have used for cleaning the gooey grass residue from weed trimmers.

at the moment i have some purple power and simple green in the garage. i just use whatever.

I use simple green probably the most as an APG. For tough cleaning, I use Castrol Super Clean and White Lightning. Having had a shop/garage fire and had the resulting soot on everything, the only thing that would cut it was super clean, simple green nor white lightning would cut the black soot.

I take my messy stuff to work and throw it in the tumbler. It uses naphtha and aluminum media to scrub the grease and grime away.

....Then I clean the dirty naphtha off with Simple Green.

That's why I love using my 2-stroke outdoor power equipment. I know I'm committing sacrilege against eco-pagans each time I mow.

I've used Simple Green for years. Wouldn't consider anything else, because it works so well. That being said, it too can stain painted surfaces if you let it evaporate and not heavy rinsing with water.

Tires, wheels, stuff around the garage. I don't use it for clothes, it has a specific smell that seems to never get out of clothes. Not a bad smell, just specific.

Not sure about that stuff. It says no ammonia but definitely smells like ammonia.

Dollar store, orange cleaner, spray on wipe off, may not be effective on all stuff, used to remove greasy fingerprints on my new white hat, I was pleased.
