i want to coat my floor to keep the dust down and make clean up easier. the floor is about 21/2 years old and has not had any surface coating on it. there are a few stains here and there (gas / oil / trans fluid) on it. i dont want to do an expoxy because i weld and grind and dont want to burn the epoxy. im just afraid to put anything down and then have it start peeling up due to the moisture / humidity of the floor. im not sure if a 'concrete sealer' would be the best thing, or just some concrete paint. this garage is more of a shop than a garage and i want it to look good also. what would be the best coating to use and how should i prep the floor for that coating?
