Maroon, galvanized corrugated tin, white trim, and a black ceiling. I like color. I worked for years in basically what amounted to a basement in the shop where my toolroom was. Off-white walls, and gray machines. You couldn't get any more bland looking space than that. I did have my garage white, then it was sort of a beige, but I decided to do something totally different and went with a black ceiling. I think the colors all sort of ties together, and even though I may have lost a little light, I didn't lose a lot. Once I get the addition done, then I will change the lighting in the main garage, plus finish up the tin work. My bump-out will house all of my overhead cabinets, and all of my rolling toolboxes, so it will open up the main garage somewhat. Then I will be able to work on it to get it finished and to where I want it. As far as the new addition, I'm on the fence as to how I am going to finish it out. I don't know whether to continue the color scheme over into it, or go with something different.
