I'm terrible at picking this stuff. I'd just assume to use black, white or machine grey on everything and that'd be just fine. 🤣

People door needs paint, it's the factory primer and it's getting rough. Supposed to be nice weather the next few days so figured I'd try to knock it out, as next time home will be a few months.

The 2 truck doors are likely getting torn out and 1 wider door in place, as 10ft wide *****, but regardless that'll get painted later, I'm thinking same color.

Roof and trim is red, walls are a super dark brown that I always that was a dark grayish black till I found the order list for steel when the place was built.

Later plans are an overhang, it's in the works along with a new roof.

Sorry not the best pics, didn't feel like moving stuff... some currently not running.

Those sure look dark grayish black to me in the pics. Can you actually tell in person they are super dark "brown" or did the metal get subsituted ? You have built or bought ?

I'd probably match wall color. I think it's help warm the place up in the wintertime when the Sun hits it to melt the snow.

Knowing it's "brown" I can tell if 6" away, otherwise looks light black/dark grey to me too.

How about just the door trim in red and the door itself white. That would be sharp.
That should have been a requirement when built. The garage door has a red jamb, why doesn't the walk door? Amazes me how bad of trim work people accept on modern buildings.

I just did a quick image search of "metal shop buildings", lots and lots of options. Plenty of 2 tones and many (even 2 tone) with white doors. Browse a bunch of pics and see what feels right. My personal preference would be match the red, I think it's a cleaner less "busy" look.
