I got these in a toolbox I picked up today.
They are cutters of some kind, maybe for leather?
The heads are mushroomed, so they got used fairly heavily.
The only markings are 5/8 cast steel on one of them I haven’t cleaned them up, so there mayBe more markings.
Any one seen these before?

Leather is not an uncommon use for those, but I also see them listed as a wad cutter, something to do with shooting.

In the leather world it might be a scalloped pinking punch.
Osborne is big in the leather world, so I would trust this worthpoint listing

Thanks
I thought that might be what they were, but good to get the confirmation.
I wonder if there is another use the previous owner had for them?
They were in a toolbox of regular hand tools, no other leather working tools.

I've heard rumors of people using them to cut veneer to get a wavy line that hides a little better but I don't know that is fact.

I don't have any clue why they might be in with mechanics type tools.

I have everything from tweezers, toothbrushes, toothpicks, kitchen utensils, who knows what else in my toolboxes. This is tame!
