Santa came early to my house this morning. I will post pics soon, but i got another irwin drill bit set, brass punches, brass hammer, 6 pc. gearwrench ratcheting SAE wrench set, 26 gallon compressor that came with a 1/2" impact and 3/8" air ratchet, and i think that's it for tools if i remember right.

Amazon & UPS are all kinds of wonky - UPS not delivering my packages because I'm apparently closed for the holidays, and Amazon telling me that delivery attempts were made.

So Santa brought me a whole lot of nothing today.

I'm playing referee to 18 of my grandchildren while part of the crowd is out doing last minute shopping and the others are at the Hospital visiting my 87 year old MIL. Trying to keep 18 grandkids tamed is a bigger trick than Sigfrey and Roy ever pulled off. I'm expecting them to turn on me. My cats have hid under the cover of my bed and I may soon be joining them. lol

Santa Please bring me some silence:lol_hitti:lol_hitti

This is what I have gotten so far.

I have been collecting pliers the past month. Between credit card points, ace hardware deals, lowes deals and random buys I have the gotten the following. All the vice grips are made in the USA or made in the USA with global components.

My g/f and I decided that instead of buying each other stuff, lets buy toys to give to kids in the cancer treatment center. This was best feeling i have had in a long time. The recipients and their families were grateful. I am still smiling over it.

My family decided to make X-mas low key (read: low cost) this year, so there wasn't much in the way of tools on my list. From shaking the packages under the tree though, I think I'm getting several sets of the socket rails I so desperately need.

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
GrooveKing, your pics are kind of small - I think you need to make them larger. =)

I'll work on it, I'll take pics of them soon and post them. All of the woodworking tools were a gift since I donated about 250 hours of my time for building a Gingerbread house, Santa's Castle, Santa's Fireplace, Mr & Mrs. Claus' large chairs and some other props for a Kid's Christmas party we put on this year. All of the props were modular and included us making large carts that would allow the props to be stored in the warehouse during the year. The lumber bill was over $4,000. I was glad that the wife was able to find a Skil HD5510 5.5" saw that was still new in box that was made in the USA, since most of Skil's production moved to China some time ago. My main saws are two Milwaukee 7-1/4" worm drives I bought back in the mid 80's and since I used my miter saws for most of the dimensional lumber the little 5.5" saw was a luxury.
