The wishlist at Chadstoolbox has really helped Santa (Mrs. lwlobo) dial in on what I like.

I got a Wera 1/4" Zyklopt ratchet, 10" Knipex Cobras, Wera Multi-Bit driver, Zems by Sensgard ear protection for my shooting box (anyone used these?) Leatherman eS4 and Style CS tools.

And a Hopps field cleaning kit from my Father-in-Law, the one-time gunsmith. Free GJ tip of the day: Marrying a Gunsmith's daughter is a good idea!

Mrs. lwlobo was a good girl this year and got a Stihl BG 55 leaf blower for christmas. There was a little joke we had about her doing yardwork (which is mostly my job) for Netflix. Obviosly the blower wasn't really part of her gifts, but it was on special at the local dealer and giving it to her was a good way to break the news about buying it!

Merry Christmas to all.

Edit: Wow, those blackberry pics are blurry. Sorry, but I'm not spending any more time on GJ today!

I think somethings wrong with the compressor. It calls for 15 amp fuses as far as electricity goes and it kicked out that and it kicks out 20 amps. Now i have to take the sticker off :(

Your not using an extension cord are you, I had one like that and gave me similar problems. Just something to look at before you have to take it back.

I'm going to be graduating in June with a degree in Automotive/Diesel repair. I don't have very many tools, so when my parent asked what I wanted, I told them tools. Dad, being a GM dealership tech for 25 years knew some tools I would need to at least start with. Being 19, I didn't expect to get anything for Christmas (I live on my own and have a job), but I was quite surprised this morning. The wrenches and ratchets were not gifts, I bought them on ebay.

:lol_hitti:lol_hitti I specifically picked one of these up in the store one day and showed it to my wife and said do not, I repeat DO NOT buy me one of these for christmas, she has a tendancy to buy me gimmicky tools, she did much better this year and took my parts list for my car and got me the parts I needed to finish off my rear suspension and some of the parts for the brake system.

Santa was good to me: Parts Washer, new level, new creeper seat, tap wrench set, and some aluminum tread plate pieces to jazz up my shop. Tomorrow afternoon is "assembly" of the stuff day. Ran out of Argon, (Santa didn't swap a full for an empty on Christmas Eve) so my welding projec had to come to a sudden standstill until I can get to the local airgas on Monday.

Too old for Santa in this house, but I bought myself a Husky (VT6315) 30 Gallon Air compressor last week with my Christmas Bonus from work. Mom and Dad aren't in the greatest shape (health or finance wise), but the Mechanix work gloves and a little bit of cash are going to get put to good use. Granny is getting really forgetful in her old age, but she knows I like Sears, so she got me a gift card. Hope to find some tools that I need that are still USA made. Sis bought me a creeper that converts into a stool. We'll see how well it works.... hopefully better than a dogbone wrench. :)

Santa (overtime) was very good to my kids this year and their happiness was a gift in and of itself. And, I kinda figured neither of my ex wives would get me anything so I splurged on something different...so far it's pretty good and neat too.

First off, from TaylorJ., my GJ Secret Santa is a brand-new Snap-On pliers. Thanks TaylorJ.!

Next up: A set of metric and a standard set of Allen brand combo wrenches. 3 different cased sets of Allen tools. A five piece set of Vise-Grips, and I bought myself an 8 piece set of Williams hard-handle screwdrivers.

Non-garage related: Set of towels and a new rug for my bathroom. New pair of Levi's. And to round it out...a DVD copy of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas (the cartoon) because I'm still a kid at heart. :)

My wonderful wife got me these:
IMG_1115.jpg

the die casts were what my Snappy driver was giving out as Xmas gifts. He also gave her a hat (not in pic because it was on my head at the time!).

She also got me this:
IMG_1114.jpg

the cart wasn't under the tree though...after everything else was opened and I was basking in the glow of my new hammers and all the other gifties, there was one present left. She passed it to me and told me to open it. Inside the box was a little gift tin, inside that, there was a little tiny stocking .Inside the stocking was a set of keys with a little transponder looking thing attached to it. I suspected they were to a storage locker so she then said that we were going for a little drive. So, she, our little fella and I headed out in our pajamas across town. Sure enough we turned into a storage facility and pulled up next to a bay. I opened it and there it was, still in the crate with a huge bow on it!!! turns out she had arranged this with the truck guy a couple months ago and she rented the storage bay for a couple weeks to make sure i wouldn't find out. So, long story short, my wife is fricken awesome!!!! I was saving for a green cart this winter but I think I can live with this one! :bounce:

got a pile of detailing stuff and some other odds and ends as well. I think I did ok.

My mom, sister and sweetheart all rock! These are all items from my wish list for a new small roller/chest that I'm trying not to overfill.

From mom:

Toptul GBA0802 8-22mm offset box wrench set. Not pictured, only because it's late.

Wera Zyklop 1/2" ratchet. Now the nicest 1/2" ratchet I own.

Wera 25PH/Z bitholding driver with Rapidaptor bayonet, slotted and Philips bits and pouch.

From sister:

Blue Point HSPI6KT deadblow hammer set. Nice! Something I can use from the small roller and not consume the space of multiple hammers.

EZ-Red EZRSR38 ratchet. This is a nifty piece for which I have an immediate need.

Fiskars Cuts+More 5-in-1 Multi-Purpose Scissors.

From my sweetheart:

Snap-On SSDMR4BO.
