Me? Just cleaned and relubricated my small but growing ratchet collection. Some of them really needed it.

Also if you ever find a ratchet that looks like a proto but has no markings, pull the cover off it. I realized the covers fit both ways when I put it back together and couldn't find proto on it anywhere on it!

you can never have too many tools

I've spent the last two days cleaning the shop. It had gotten WAY out of hand and it was definately time. Sorted through a bunch of wrenches and sockets that I'd bought at auction a while back, ended up with a softsided tool caddie full of tools that I will probably never use. All different brands, Stanley, Williams, Craftsman, Proto, S-K, Goodwrench, Allied, ect. Not sure what I'll do with them, might take them to the swap meet and put 50 cents a piece on them and see how long they last.

Working for a Brown professor this week. I gutted his main powder room mon/tues and started putting it together today. It started as a small room but we absorbed the attached foyer closet and part of another room. Much larger now.

And, the calls I get on occasion, and one of them just a half hour ago, 'duck, this is Jimmy. You worked with us ten years ago on something totally unrelated to what I'm about to ask about a company you've never dealt with, but I knew you would know. Do you have a few minutes? We're being audited by the feds, how do we answer this query?' Forty five minutes to explain, in essence, what 'is' is.

I haven't even been able to get dressed today.

So what your saying is you have been walking around in your skivvies all day drinking coffee and acting like ohh a retired person :}

I did a little Pawn shopping today, picked up a few US made pin punches, a Snap On screwdriver, an old diamond logo SK 1/4" drive extension, and a Starrett automatic center punch (18B), in its original box, that was in excellent shape.
