Isn't it funny, how the smaller they get, the more expensive they get? Be careful, its difficult to get proper torque on a very low torque wrench like this. Feel is important. As soon as you feel it begin to break, stop, if you follow completely thru the click, you will probably have overtorqued. I had a chance to play with my 1/4 drive Seekonk clicker, same range as yours, on my companies calibration tool, I was absolutely amazed at how gentle you had to be with it at the low torques.

My Mother in law and stepfather in law got me and their other son-in-law each a toolbox. Not a huge giant ball-bearing drawer one (like I had been eyeballing and just not had the guts to spend $600+ on), but a very respectable starting point. Way cool of them to do that, too. Who complains about in-laws? Not me.

Other than that, some money came my way. I think I am looking at air compressors now. :bounce:

Actually, EXACTLY that toolbox (^^^), minus the intermediate cabinet and red. :D

I got the SAE and metric versions of Griot's ball-end hex wrenches, a $150 gift card that I'm going to blow on stuff in their catalog, a $100 Craftsman card and the book "Dream Garages". Also got a bunch of miscellaneous, non-garage-related stuff. The Griot's box also contained a "15% off your next order" coupon, so I figured WTH, why not.

I got a few movies and some money. But, my parents asked me what kind of Snap-On tools I wanted so I gave them a list and they'll get me some late christmas gifts as soon as the Snap-On truck rolls around. Here's my wishlist I gave to them:

8pc. Screwdriver set (Flat/Phillips) Black Plastic Handle
3/8" Ratchet (7-11/32" Handle)
11pc. Standard 3/8" 12-point Deep Socket Set (1/4" to 7/8")
11pc. Standard 3/8" 6-point Shallow Socket Set (1/4" to 7/8")
7pc. Standard 12-point Wrench Set (3/8" to 3/4")
Inline Spark Plug Tester

I'll have to wait and see how much of this list is completed after they see the prices. lol.

Yea, I almost freaked when I saw it. Apparently, everyone talked to my friend who knows my tools. He told them to get me this one. Whenever my family asks me what I want to Christmas, I don't have the heart to give them a list...good thing my friend knows what I need....

Thanks for the advice. I haven't tried it yet - haven't had a moment to get away to the garage!

Fluke 88 Automotive Multimeter & Accessories... Measures RPM, temperature, and just about anything else you'd possibly need. Runs around $350, and worth every penny. :D

That came from my parents. My wife's family got us a pretty sweet Cannon digital camcorder. :0

Good Christmas for me! The shear (like all things from HF) needed a little tuning and a better coat of paint, but that was handled.
