What do you call this connector I need for my walnut blaster adapter?

I just got this Hyundai/Kia walnut blaster adapter,

Pardon Our Interruption...

It connects to a shopvac but the shopvac hose diameter is a bit bigger than the adapter diameter. I think something like this would work:


Looking at Home Depot under "hose adapter" but see nothing similar. Is there another name for it?

I don't think you even need that adapter... I think the white part is a display platform...

If you look closely, there is a raised rib around the hose attachment end...


Here's mine, with the vac hose attached and a bit of duct tape...

I found the hose from another shopvac that has a smaller end, and joined them with a piece of radiator hose. This should be fine.
