What do you do with your old tools once you upgrade to a newer or better tools i have a lot of tools that i have just upgraded as i started out for quanity not quality now i have seen the light
I personally find I cannot get rid of a tool...ever.

I do hand stuff down to my son, but I find that difficult. He's a tool abuser.![]()
I agree with Larwyn on this, I would never "upgrade" just to do it, there would have to be a problem.

Most of my old hand tools are as good or better than anything new that I could replace them with so I use them. I have upgraded a few power tools and passed the the old ones on to a brother in law. I have never replaced a tool simply because it is old, only if it is lost, broken or worn out.

I put them in a cheaper toolbox and find a new place to store it.
