Why would you buy a white toolbox, if almost everything you work on with a toolbox is covered in dirt and grease?

Summer's eve.

LOLOLOLOL...

I use windex or std. glass cleaner.

To remove solvent based residue 3M Adhesive remover or Naptha.

Wax at least the top or horz. surfaces every 3 to 6 months to keep the deposits and gravity gunk build up at bay.

If working in a paint or body shop or in a metal or grinding shop, that needs to be upped or use a fitted vinyl, plastic or canvas box cover or condom at nite or if not used daily.

I just wipe it down with glass cleaner. Usually AcDelco foaming glass cleaner that we get at the shop. My box has the black rubber mat top so I use some dash cleaner to shine that up.

i used to give my boxes a wipe down every week with window cleaner, maybe once a year hit it with some wax

whenever i rearrange the garage, (once a year or so) just a quick wipedown,
my work boxes get an air dusitng once in a while.

boxes in my service truck get hosed down with a hot water pressure washer every couple years.

Beetle Juice.... Oh what we clean them with. Sorry misread it. I use a combination of things. Mostly mineral spirits and wax.

I used meguiars and mothers quick detail wax but it leaves wax in every little nook. Makes the box looks horrible. So I went back to the bottle of wax I got from my SO dealer. He gave me the kit and it worked great. So I bought the big bottle.

Regular aerosol pledge furniture cleaner/polish although I don't have a brand new white Snapon box.

I just use a blowgun. But I work in a bodyshop and my stupid *** bought a black box. The thing is covered in primer / bodyfiller diet by the end of the day. Also it is a Craftsman Griplatch so it is a ************* and cleaning that piece of junk is not high on my list of priorities. If I had a Snap-On box I would blow it off daily and give it a wipe down with glass cleaner and a microfiber once or twice a weak. I would recomend a product like Mothers Sealer and Glazeevery month or two. It is a non-wax product that goes on and off very easily.

I use quick detailer, 1Z or Meguires or comparable. Made for painted surfaces, why mess with anything else? Makes no sense.

If it's a new box, it gets Windexed, followed by a clay bar, followed by waxing with Meguires. NuFinish works pretty good too, but I like the smell and consistency of Meguiar's better for tool boxes, plus the paste is a little cheaper (I don't use the liquid).

As for residual cleaning, I use Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer if it's relatively clean. Otherwise, I use Mean Green Cleaner & Degreaser or LA's Totally Awesome Multi-Purpose Cleaner, followed by the detailer spray.

My boxes get the clay bar every 4 months and rewaxed with the previously mentioned paste.

I've seen one white box in person and it is gorgeous!!!

Wax it once a year and use spray on detail wax in between.
