I need a method or tubing bender (without breaking the bank) for 3/4" OD copper. It needs to be capable of making 180deg bends without crushing/buckling the pipe. What do you recommend??
we have a JD squared in our shop that we bend 7/8 up to 1 3/8 but the make dies for everything tou can think of. I think the stand and the bender and set of dies was like 400 bucks. Are u bending hard or soft copper? Just make sure it is good round tubbing!
If its 3/4 OD chances are its soft copper. How tight of bends do you need to make? Could always go the old school method fill with clean sand and bend in around something that is the radius you need. The sand keeps the pipe from crimping and it should keeps its form through the bend.
