I just had one of my 20lb CO2 bottles swapped for a full one, spent $26.37 OTD. Is that reasonable or do we get screwed for gas cost in California like we do for most things?

I only type with one finger and dont use spell check. When I worked in that biz people brought there own "dry ice "and we filled there containers for small fee.

What? CO2 is filled as a liquid (by weight hence the 20# cylinder rating) in the cylinder and that liquid produces gas. If you trans filled a CO2 cylinder with gas, it would not last very long. (gas would be measured by volume (cubic feet) not weight) Maybe I am misunderstanding what you typed.

$26.00 is reasonable for a 20# cylinder

Doesn't matter if 2.5lb or 20 its 13.45 out the door here at AOC. I pay 40 for argon 125cf, 15 for oxy 120cf, 35 for ace don't remember size about 3 feet tall and wide, and 20 for nitrogen in a 20cf
