Apparently it is a meat cutting saw. I can't dig up much more info on it than that.

It's not a meat saw. Except for in a horror movie.
Here's the patent drawing for it.

Those were shown in adds with them cutting a house in half, roof, walls, floors everything but the concrete foundation. Were a lot better than anything else available in the 50's-60's when those came out. Great find if you can find any blades for it.

It is very nice on the drive housing and handle . Really like the general flow of lines and especially the cooling vents, that person should have been promoted! I would buy and display that. Pm me if you wanna sell it.

Just curious. Can someone tell me what this saw is worth as a collectable? It runs but I have not cleaned or used it.
Thank you,
Stinson

Local game processing place has had one of those 20+ years at the back where you drop off game. Makes quick work of antlers, heads etc, then gets dropped unceremoniously on the floor next to the ancient box stapling machine. Everything in sight covered in blood, hair, fat, and bone dust.

Hello, just returned from the post office and UPS. The 11 pound package will cost $35.55 by Postal and $41.19 by UPS. Both take 6 days to deliver. So your check would be a total of $85.55 for USPS or $91.19 UPS. Your choice for which works best in your area. Send me your complete mailing address and I can send today. Thank you. I hope you will enjoy it in your collection. Stinson
