I've started looking for a used air compressor for my home shop. I want something big enough for occasional sand blasting and air tool use. A guy has a lightly used (his words) Charge Air Pro for sale for $800, spec.s below. Good deal?

In my opinion, specs are adequate for a sandblasting cabinet, however, they do not list duty cycle. If it has an aluminum pump, they usually have 50% duty cycle, but cast iron pumps have 100 percent duty cycle running on synthetic oil. If you will be doing a lot of blasting, longer than 30 minutes at a time, I would choose cast iron pump. As far as price, it's decent if it's a cast iron pump, and if it's aluminum pump, they go for about 500-600 around here.
