I use glass or brake cleaner, whichever's closer at the end of the day. Glass cleaner doesn't ruin my plastic handles.

I let the wife out of the kitchen to go to the store to restock the sandwich supplies and simply put the sockets in the dishwasher on the pots and pan cycle and all is well.

Years ago I worked with a kid who told us that's how his father cleaned his work boots. I'm not joking.
