just disassembled, moved and reassembled the kid's trampouline with a new net and spring covers, Lag bolts when building a trellis and log cribs. Assembling swing set.

So I guess, outdoor use, for juvenile stuff.

But, then again, according to the Mrs. most of my hobbies and projects are just that.

All the time...I have Dewalt 18v stuff 1/4" impact driver, 3/8" impact wrench and 1/2" heavy duty impact wrench.

Use the 1/4" in place of screw drivers.
Use the 3/8" in place of ratchets.
Use the 1/2" for quick tire swaps when I don't want to pull out the air.

I keep one in my personal and work car, only for flat tires.....I couldn't live without them.....It raises the jack in like 3 seconds....Alot easier then hand cranking...

Never even thought about using it for the jack, just for lug nuts. Of course, I think the jack in my F150 is a hook arrangement rather than a hex...

Use mine to remove trim, covers, etc and sometimes to run bolts in/out before final torquing or after I've broken them free. I've had a Makita 10.8v for close to 4 years. Use it infrequently at home (they're not practical in my line of work) maybe 2-3 weekends a month. For what it is, it's a powerful, sturdy driver -- highly recommended.

I've got the exact same jack, and have done the same thing as you....
I had a problem with one and got this from a 1t, I like the lighter one better. I ude this often, super fast. Easy, reach in with drill.

Ryobi?
I like their other stuff.
Any opinion? I'd rather have ryobi because of the batteries i already have.
Other than general bashing?

I picked up one of those 5 piece Ryobi 18v sets about 5 years ago and was, frankly, surprised at how well everything worked.

I later picked up the P230 1/4" hex impact driver and about a year ago added the P260 driver with the 1/2" anvil when it came out. I use the hell out of them. Of course, I'm just a DIY'er mainly working on my own cars.

I use the 1/4" hex drive with both 1/4" and 3/8" adapters. The 1/2" for anything larger. Just used the 1/2" impact to spin the recessed 24mm nut off of an an alternator fan about half an hour ago - would have been a PITA without an impact.

I recently used both of them to strip a 928 that was going to the crusher. Pulled the engine, transmission, suspension and every nut and bolt I could salvage off of the carcass. Both impacts were invaluable.

The Lithium batteries make a BIG difference and are backward compatible. YMMV.
