I finally have a place to start working after a nasty divorce 2 years ago. Ive been reading through here a lot, and have some questions. The garage has a sub panel and the main portion of the garage has a main panel with 150 amp service. It is all one building, apartement (not used anymore, just storage) and underneath is garage.
Im trying to figure out some electrical and where to place some outlets etc. What do you guys mean when you say the sub panel shouldnt be bonded? The sub panel should have four wires running to it correct? Black and Red for power, White for neutral and bare or Green for ground no?? The red and black hook to the main breaker, white to one side bus bar, and green or bare to other side bus bar is this correct?
Any help or clarification would be appreciated as I know nothing about electrical. Just trying to figure out what you guys are talking about. Thanks,
Craig
ps, i plan to have about 7 110 outlets on each circuit, can you put more than one 220 outlet on one circuit? I have 2 machines that run on 220, will not be used at the same time, but wont be near enough to share the one outlet.
