what epoxy for this floor?

Working on my bathroom floor in the shop. These are beer bottle tops,each is liquid nailed to the concrete floor. When they are all laid my plan is to pour a gloss clear epoxy to level them out. What kind of epoxy should I use? It was a hair brain and obviously by the kind of tops beer induced idea but should be cool when its done. So far 350 tops,probably about 2000 more micros to go "drink".

I can just hear the phone call now "honey, I am sorry, I have to stay late and work on the floor" The issue is going to be the thickness and finding a product that will cure without cracking or off gassing causing a bubble issue. Email me the size of the area and I will find a product that will not crack.

Its small being only a 1\2 bathroom, aprox 10 sq feet of floor. Would like to pour at about 1\4" thick so it covers the tops of the caps and they won't get scratched up.

I should add that this isn't a customer area, I want it to look good but really we were just messing around and if its not perfect that's fine. Its normally so filthy you can see the floor anyway.

Our BondTite 1101 will wok on that. We have some applications where it's >1/4" thick when cured, plus at that thickness it has a bit of flex.

What's the height of the caps?

We have a product that will work for the application. It is GFSL 175. It is a good self leveling modified epoxy polymer. 100% solids. Almost completely odor free! Cost is $99.50 per gallon. As with any liquid projects requiring that thickness of material, you will run the risk of entrapping air into the coating. I would recommend a doing it in multiple pours and being very careful mixing so air entrapment is minimal. It is a tricky deal to pour out a floor but we could suggest a few things we know to make it easier to install. We would need the details on the project to make that happen. Let me know if there is any thoughts about moving forward with that project.

If you are serious about continuing you would be well served by applying a coating prior to putting the caps down. This will help with the slab off gassing and creating unwanted air bubbles, pinheads, etc. in the coating. This method won't entirely eliminate that problem but it'll definitely help reduce it.

I just saw an Elite Crete Systems applicator that encapsulated a floor with $2500 in pennies using E100-PT1 crystal clear epoxy. Another floor that I've seen had Snickers wrappers encapsulated in Elite Crete Systems E100-UV1.
