What finish for my deck?

Its not in my garage, but behind it. The deck went about 6years with no finish. Last summer I power washed it and it really cleaned up nice. About three weeks ago I cleaned it with a standard deck cleaner and brush. Let it dry out a couple days and stained it with a BEHR solid color water proof stain. The deck looked amazing at first. Spent 72miserable hours keeping my dogs off this deck so it could properly dry. The first couple times we let them out on the deck the stain is coming right up. I did all the proper prep. I could not be more dissapointed in the product. I spent some money and busted my **** to get the job done, and its not holding up one bit. SOOOO what I should have done first, is ask for reccomendations. Thats what I will do now! What do you guys use? I need something to stand up to my two dogs and Michigan winters!

Kidding! My sister used rust-oleum deck restore at her house and she loves it. Seals up splinters and has a slightly textured feel to it. She lives in WI and has a playful pug if that relates.

I used Restore a couple of years ago, complete waste of money. Unfortunately i talked my dad into using it on a fairly large deck. We covered the deck in rubber tile this summer.

Sikkens Rubbol is expensive stuff, but I have had good luck with it.
