What happened to toolboxesandmore.com?

Last year, I bought custom Lista cabinets for a workbench from toolboxesandmore.com. I like the way the web site let's you configure everything, including drawer sizes, and then order it.

Now I can't connect to the website. I hope they didn't go out of business, they were great to work with.

Anybody know if they just changed addresses?

A bunch of "niche" online retail sites were recently rebranded as Wayfair. Check out www.wayfair.com and see if their products look familiar. They seem to have a large tool selection - unsure of the quality, though.

All of his sites are down and have been for several months. I haven't confirmed yet, but it seems as though he closed up shop. I know he was involved in politics as well.

I don't have the fancy website, but have been a Lista distributor for over 9 years. I'd be happy to help. I just hung up the phone with my Lista regional manager and we can create 2D drawings for review. We're in the midst of a race shop build for a Formula 2000 team.

I just confirmed that they are no longer a Lista distributor. That's all I was told.

In general, does Lista have both stocking distributors who in turn sell to resellers(dealers) only and/or dealers who sell to the public(end users).

Some industries have two levels of distribution while others have a shorter path. Manufacturer-Manufacturer-distributor-dealer-enduser

Lista has different levels based on volume of sales. Most orders ship direct from the factory as they are made to order. Xpress Products can ship in a week. There might be some distributors that stock some inventory, but most don't.

Some are ranked as dealers and only allowed to sell in specific markets or industries. I'm a national distributor and can sell to all markets. However, I have certain areas I specialize in and national contracts with corporate clients prevent me from working with some corporate clients. One example would be Stihl dealerships that can get Lista through a contract with Lista and then they get rebates or financing from Stihl because they are meeting criteria for shop design and what not. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you that was helpful. Yes, I have a remodel project coming up at years end that could use some cabinets. I've always heard Lista products are exceptional. Be sure to contact you when that time comes.
