It breaks my little heart to say this, but shipping and handling on a $137 part was... $18.They will add a handling charge to ensure that they continue to be more expensive than anybody else.
EXACTLY!hell hath frozen over? grainger is actually cheaper?? i didnt think it was possible
What size tires? I keep debating doing some of our equipment in foam filled.EXACTLY!
Hell, a month or so ago I looked for a picture of foam-filled utility tires for a post here, and fount that Grainger had them for 1/3 what I paid in town--after shipping!

We are technically overdue.I understand that every million years of so Earth's polarity swaps North for South. Must be another one coming now.
My former partners, later clients had national accounts in Can and USA. If you just took the pricing for the account, it was generally a fair bit higher than competitors, To get decent pricing we had to go to account rep and get a quote. Even then: when working out of our Minooka IL office my hotel room looked out over a monster Grainger service center and we could get almost everything and anything we needed from the "will call" desk an hour after ordering. Would be really nice to have that level of convenience with market leading prices. When you have a commercial account, they are quite a bit cheaper than listed prices.
They can also price match on some items, and source parts not in their catalog. I do this often through our account rep.
I was checking out some of the paper work and the company was paying between 40% and 60%
less then the suggested retail price in the catalog.
Because of our location, there is no MOVE MOVE MOVE out here. If it ships that day from Portland, OR, yeah, it might be here tomorrow. Otherwise, no way.My company always went to Grainger when "oh my god poop is on fire WE NEED THIS YESTERDAY MOVE MOVE MOVE"
My i would be jump kicked into my car so I can drive to pick it up. Heck I cross the border for crucial parts regularly.Because of our location, there is no MOVE MOVE MOVE out here. If it ships that day from Portland, OR, yeah, it might be here tomorrow. Otherwise, no way.
