Hey guys, new to the forum. Been lurking for a while and taking in the massive amount on info here. I have the chance to get an old "hammer?", but I'm not sure much about it. I haven't seen it in person and it will probably just be something to hang on the wall in the garage. Anyone know what it is?

looks like a torture device. I wish i could help. If i were to guess it would be a jig of some sort. Doesn't quite look like a hammer

Looks like something to mimic curves, like in woodworking. You adjust the pieces to match the profile of the first shape and take away material from the second piece of wood until it matches the first.

Are they loose, or fixed?

I'd say a stone dressing hammer if they are fixed.

I have no clue. My dad came across it and asked if I wanted it. I imagine they're probably pretty rusted in place. He though it might've been some kind of rock hammer.
