I am looking for a parts washer - preferably enclosed - either the type where you put your hands into gloves and clean the parts inside the washer - or the clamshell type that with the turn table.
Heated preferred
This will be used in a semi commercial environment - not home use but not a full one auto shop either, mostly auto parts

Budget is around $5k usd

solvent or aqueous is fine (if solvent ones are still available)
No "safety kleen" please-around here they have a lousy service reputation - but a "great" sales pitch.

Not opposed to a purchase with service.

I'd appreciate your parts washer help and experiences

Thanks!

Bummer hearing about SK. I picked up a nice large SK washer that sits on a 55 gal. Drum at the swap years ago in prep for the shop I'm building. Maybe the issues are regional? I'm in So. CA.

BTW, nice DC. I have a '62 (needs major crash repair) and a driver '62 single. Few other stock aircooleds too.

I bought a old used 42 gallon Graymills solvent washer off Craigslist. Need a lot of cleaning and new filters, but as far as I can tell, they haven't changed the design much in 20+ years. I added a big magnetic old pan heater on a timer to warm the solvent and it works great. Paid about 1/4 the price of the same unit new.

I have had a Better Engineering parts washer before and I currently have a Temco T5. Both of these have worked great for me. They are aqueous and do not use solvent.

Here is a link to what I currently have. Mine is about 10 years old but not much has changed. https://www.washparts.com/parts-washers/55-temco-model-t5-parts-washer.html

And while they are showing it for just under $8k, I picked mine up for $1100 from a state surplus auction. You can find them pretty frequently through gov auctions.
