I've always wanted a lift and now we are buying a house and planning for a 30x40 shop as soon as I can afford it. I need to pick out a lift and make sure I can design the shop and make the proper allowances for the lift to fit and function.

I like the 2 post lifts. Biggest truck we own is my 2007 Chevy 3500 crew cab long bed. It's just under 23' long, not sure on weight.

So I need help picking a lift that would allow me to work under the truck and figure out if the concrete has to be done a certain way.

I plan to make my shop with 12' walls to allow for more room for the lift.
