I would guess it was 8 to 12 years old

I believe the closest thing to it now is a KRL7023 which has 2 wide drawers instead of one and is 6" deeper front to back.

A very good to excellent used SO box should be worth 20% to 25% of a new one of the same size.

I would expect to pay $1200 to $2000

The newest it could be is 2002 or 2003. It appears in the #600 catalog(2001) but is not in any later ones to my knowledge. I'm thinking early to mid '90's is when they began making them. Earlier catalogs show a KRL 763 which is the same chassis with a different drawer configuration.

Today, the only boxes that are close to it dementionally are the classic96's at 72" wide, 24" deep, and 40" tall.

I'd love to have one. The 24" depth and three bays is what I'm looking for but in a KRL, not a Classic96. I'd have no problem giving $2000 or $2500 for one in nice shape due to the fact they are not made any longer and I really want one.
