What is happening to my posts?

I've had this problem before. I post, it appears as the latest post, but when the thread is opened, my message is not there. Posted under "what I got the wife for Christmas.

Your post is there twice... I'll bet that you are on a dial up connection. Usually those connections are very slow to refresh the page, so it appears that your post is missing, where as it really has posted the first time. By the way, it's a cute little dog.

You have to move out of Tennessee, and move to Missouri, the show me state............

Thanks but no, I'm on Comcast high speed connection. I resent the message because the earlier post was not there. Don't understand why it does not show on my log on. The first post was earlier today. Something is wrong.

Check your mouse and see if it is still breathing. Might also be a loose gazinta in the processor...
