You guys that spend more time on their website might know. I'm not finding any large sockets. I'm looking for something around 2 and 3/16 inches or 55mm, 56mm. Deep impact would be preferable.

I was looking at Harbor Freight for a 1 and 1/2 inch socket and the largest I could find was 1 and 1/4 inch. I also looked at the big box stores Lowes, Home Depot, etc and had no luck.

An auto parts store may have them to rent, I know Advance/Carquest did. Otherwise, Powerbuilt was said to be decent. Northern tool should be ok as well.

I am going to suggest, and this is theory only as I havent tried it so I'll need some help here....

I have never had an aluminum pipe wrench.
If you take steel jaws out, wouldn't you have a no mar pipe wrench?

Not with a Ridgid. The dynamic jaw is all a steel assembly, and without the static jaw you would have no bite.

Perhaps with another maker, but not the common ones.

I read in another thread that your guess at the size was based on measuring with popsicle sticks instead of an excellent 10 dollar hf caliper.
If you get the correct measurement any one of a thousand of us could send you the socket for free.

I know the older Schick aluminum pipe wrenches were discussed here semi-recently, and those wrenches have an AL dynamic jaw with a dovetailed insert that has the teeth. However, might be more trouble than it is worth, and might damage the dovetails.

Speaking of ridgid, what about one of their hex wrenches?

One other suggestion, perhaps there is a wheel bearing/hub socket that could fit. I have a 2-9/16" hex socket for Dodge dana 60 front axles that is made of stamped steel and 1/2 drive. Perhaps another application would have the right size.

Really? We're on thread #3 of the Harbor Freight jack?

Here's your 2-3/16" socket, but don't forget to factor in the cost for a #5 spline drive impact.

Use a big wrench, or just buy a new jack already. Between a caliper to get the real measurement, the socket and the tool to use said socket you're going to be in more than a replacement HF floor jack.

If they made a metric set, price per socket would probably be less than $9.99. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
