What is it - double box road find

From a distance, I thought I had scored a high dollar double box. But when I got out of the car, I knew it wasn't. Do you know what it is?

I suspect it's now scrap metal but am really curious as to its use. It was found on a road with lots of car dealers, but there is also a ton of construction now as it was a couple of blocks from where the new Atlanta Braves stadium is being built.

I use an iPad with Atomic Web app. A mod fixed it for me on this thread. It looks like I need to use tapatalk to create threads from now on.

Looks like a leveling valve link off a semi or commercial bus, just missing the rubber bushings.
