Exhaist pipe expander, for making exhaust slide id bigger than the od so it can slide over and be clamped

They're pipe expanders. Usually used for exhaust pipe.

Can also be used as mandrels... But it isn't, until you use one as a mandrel, then it is.

Can also be used to restore the original shape of the exhaust pipe after it has been deformed by the clamp. Pressure up and gently hammer. Repeat.

Those work better to get the pipe back round so you can assemble the exhaust. They do not really work well to expand the pipe to the next size or even to enlarge them to fit over each other. A lot of the time the muffler etc has been dropped in the box and the ends are damaged, that is what those can fix.

They work ok if it's minimal clearance you need but also saved my *** 100 times for other stuff.
