I recently purchased an old snap on toolbox at an auction and am currently cleaning it out. It has a lot of smaller items. However, I came across this and don't know what it is. Anyone know? ...also came across this old caliper tool

Your first tool could be a hole gauge. You insert it in a hole, screw the needle in to expand it and then measure the OD with a mic or vernier caliper.

The second one is a Kent Moore center bearing caliper gage. It's used with a facing tool to find the correct width of a center main bearing.

The first tool appears to be a Soiux expanding pilot for a seat grinder.

+1 on the expanding pilot for a valve seat grinder. I have a set of those that are Black & Decker.
