What is it (Stihl edition)?

Going through Dad’s stuff, found this with the boxes of lawn mower, trimmer, and leaf blower parts. It says Stihl on it. Doesn’t seem to be a part for either the FSA60 or the FS90, and I haven’t found any other Stihl tools it could go to.

Aw, and here I thought it was a Stihlatinny rail for mounting optics on a line trimmer....

There’s been times when I’ve given semi-serious thought about mounting a flashlight on my Stihl gas trimmer for the times I’m finishing up the yard as night falls. Might as well be one with a tacti-cool DNA collector end for home defense duties.

Make up a double shoulder harness with LED semi-spotlights on each one and a battery pack on the belt. Take THAT, Nightfall!
