I've picked up a lot of oddball stuff at garage & estate sales and flea markets over the years, so I've got an entire shelf in my garage with several dozen random pieces like these. They usually come in tool boxes or crates of tools. (You know: the "$5. for the old saw, $10. for the whole milk crate of old tools - just get it outa here" kind of thing.)

I'm generally pretty good at figuring out what they are and what they do, but these things have me stumped. If anybody can help identify these items, I'd appreciate it.

#2: A friend of mine thinks this might be some kind of large drill bit guide or something similar.

It comes apart into these components.

#3: Some kind of block that's attached by magnets to a steel bar.

It comes apart into these components. The rounds are magnets with a baked-on crinkle finish, that can be pushed out of the main body of the block.

I think the first one is a fixture for grinding lathe bits on a surface grinder.

Edit to add link.

Lathe bit grinding clamp. The different angles are for relief angles. Bit goes into the clamp, and then it's mounted on a mag table for a surface grinder. The ones I've seen were not in that good of shape either. Nice find ...
